Faction Summaries and Overviews

Okay, what we need is for everyone with a faction or any sort of armed group to write a fairly detailed summary about the group in question. This goes for pretty much any group that has a base beyond just a travelling ship, basically. Some of the key things I'm looking for in these summaries:

-General goals or community mindset of the group; their outlook on things
-Power Structure. Important NPCs, Important PCs, the chain of command and how the politics work within it.
-Notable Force Divisions. If it's got a Navy, an Army, Airforce etc. How its split up militarily.
-Location/territory controlled and notable bases/points of interest owned. Major R&D facilities, resource mines, super weapons, whatever - anything that you can think of that is worth mentioning in it. Basically strategic points of interest.
-Population of the territories under control. We're going to have to play with these numbers a bit, I imagine. This is the total population of the territories, not just civilian.

Finally, detailing of your fleets. These do regenerate. This is just a tally of your faction's total forces at the given time. These numbers will not increase drastically, though the contents of them may change - old MPs being phased out/lost in battle for new MPs, same as ships. This should entail what fleets make up your whole faction, and the composition of said fleets, with a hard number of ships. Also list the various MPs, MAs, and any sort of special MPs you may have as well - there is no need for hard numbers of MP, but prototypes or MAs should have numerical listing.

If anyone has anything to add to this that all factions should add in to this description, suggest it!

Frontier Commonwealth

General Goals: Short-term goals primarily revolve around the integration of existing colonial administrations into the Commonwealth and reinforcement of recent territorial gains. Longer-term goals are to return the Commonwealth to a functioning Democracy and unify the Earth Sphere under a singular banner within ten years.

Power Structure: Formerly a democratic state, political instability has brought the Frontier Commonwealth under the control of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, a military junta led by a committee of military leaders. A five member Executive Committee effectively control the Frontier Commonwealth, however by U.E. 0023, Lance Screamer has cemented himself as the sole power behind the government and military.

Location/Territory: Based out of Side 4 (Acque), the Commonwealth hold claims to the colonies of Side 1 (Soule), Side 5 (Voivode), Side 6 (Canoe), Side 7 (Daze), and Side 2 (Pastorale) as their sovereign territory.

Notable Commonwealth Territorial Assets

Otani Newtype Laboratories: A Side 7 based think-tank that offers a full range of laboratory testing for individuals whom meet or exceed the established scientific criteria for heightened mental awareness. Otani Newtype Laboratories began as Mastodon Clinical Labs, an enterprise run exclusively by the Central Earth Union up until the Commonwealth's assimilation of Daze. Despite obvious changes in upper management, over seventy percent of the Mastodon research staff have remained on board and continue to study and develop Newtype-related technologies for the Commonwealth Armed Forces. Although the Otani label shares no direct links to previous generations of Newtype Research & Development, it has unfortunately inherited some of the negative stigmas associated with Newtype R&D as a result of the Black Guard's infamously documented experiments. Whereas its predecessors tended to focus on creating Artificial Newtypes, Otani Labs has avoided such moral pitfalls and instead remains focused on the R&D of the Flash System among the weaponization of other technologies as well. Several colonies among Side 7 and Side 4 are now host to various smaller Otani branches. Although the organization's greater presence remains based in Daze, it is essentially controlled by the Commonwealth government out of Acque.

Oasis Research Facility: An asteroid facility specifically designed for the containment and scientific study of what are assumed to be Extraterrestrial Bio-Organic Weapons recovered from the Side 2 Pastorale event. The Oasis Research Facility holds orbit around Lagrange Point 3 in unassuming fashion, although the threats contained within would be lethal to any human life if containment were to be breached.
