"Captain, incoming heat signature, it's too close!!!"
The lancing beam of the Ishim roared through the sky towards the hull of the Gaw-class. The awkward shape of the plane worked to bank in the opposite direction, but it was all for naught. The plume of energy tore through the starboard side wing, tearing it from the hull as if the carrier were made of paper mache. The aircraft began to dive, slowing arcing towards the ground below before finally tumbling in a rough free-fall. With a blast of flame and dirt, the Gaw disappeared beyond a canopy of trees.
Mosa watched it all from the monitors as the Captain's gambit seemingly failed. She punched her screen as hard as she could in frustration, but there was no time for remorse as the plumas worked to swarm her position. The thrusters of the Fenice erupted as the Gundam pivoted with a rough jerking motion and brought the buster rifle into firing position. At this range, Mosa hoped she wouldn't need to be accurate. She pulled the trigger as the Gundam echoed the movement and the buster rifle spit forth a large torrent of plasma towards the rushing automatons.
"Girls! One of you get to the Master Puppeteer ASAP! The rest of you get on me with some cover!" She barked as the jet-like silhouettes of the Taurus streaked past in the sky. One of the dolls broke off to attend to the crashed Gaw, as the others transformed into the Mobile Suit modes and began laying down a wall of fire with their beam rifles. There was definitely something beyond human with these machines, Mosa noted as she took a quick glance at the camera feed of the main grouping of Ishim as they pulled themselves up from the ground as if they were zombies. They carried themselves with a ferocity only few humans were capable of, yet their combat decisions and self preservation seemed to be greater than that of her Mobile Dolls. She quickly went to her comms system, and hoped the particle density wasn't too thick yet.
"This is Mosa from the Master Puppeteer! My ship is down. Enemy might be Artificial Intelligence. Advise caution, over!"
