Combat Style - Pathfinder - Vice is apt at rushing at situations that most others would not want to. It is not his intent to rush blindly, but a realization that being proactive and dictating the terms of battle is superior to being reactive. He is quick to close the distance and engage in close quarters combat to score quick kills or cripple an enemy in the shortest time possible. He also understands the importance of key targets and morale, and will focus on targets that are significant to the enemy in order to crush their attack and motivation. However, he is not the most astute character and at times his speed has driven him into bad situations and traps that have almost killed him. Due to his weak Newtype skills, he only gains marginal combat increases while retaining many of the negative aspects, especially when encountering a developed newtype. Lastly, due to identity issues that are times his lack of confidence has actually paralyzed him.

Other Information: Cybernetic enhancements that include corneal implants with enhanced reality capabilities, cybernetic arms (right is dexterity oriented, left is strength), legs; they are control by a combination of psychoframe technology and wiring that is connected to a spinal case. Clone of Victor Vidal Veran; DNA has also been affected by the Marked mutation, which is kept in check by his cybernetics. Also carried a 1911 pattern pistol that has been enhanced by Psychoframe.

Personality: An aggressive and angry personality, he can also be maniac depressive.

Biography: A parody of man from his inception, Vice was born was a clone of a high level newtype and soldier known as Victor Vidal Veran. One of many clones, he was an early test bed for a stabilizing serum to combat the advanced growth that they were programmed for. Taken away from the project in secret, Vice's childhood was ruptured by the cataclysm; he never had a family, but his identity did not matter. As time went on, he learned he was physically and emotionally capable of joining the military, so he did. After a short tour, he instead swapped to an artifact recovery agency, seeking rare pre-cataclysm technology. But that's where everything changed.

After a short and failed relationship with Kit Langley, Vice learned he was a clone. Within that same span of time, he also encountered the wild and mutant Marked virus. A fight with an unknown being known as Kodoq caused him to lose his left hand and get it replaced with another clone's hand. Unfortunately, the doctor, Alfimi Elwren (who also proved to be his 'mother' so to speak) did not give him enough UG cells to combat the Marked virus that took hold in his system. He eventually began to turn and instead made a case for hunting down the Marked. While in the process of burning the monsters that now haunted his dreams, he met Feld, his best (and perhaps only) friend who was just as jacked up in the head as he was... although Feld enjoyed it.

After a period of kicking ass and taking names (including a small WMD incident in Cairo), Vice recovered an old suit from the clone project that he would rebuild. Before it was completed, he had engaged rogue Martian forces, a battle that he won with an incomplete suit and minimal backing. He became a well known public figure, which made his clone status an issue once again. Now chosen as a special envoy to Mars, Vice left Feld behind and engaged an emerging threat: the Prophet Mazin and his cyborg army. Linking up with the Martian Resistance, Vice helped lead the charge until a particularly bad battle left both him and the Sinanju in shambles. His only saving grace? Feld came up to see him, saving him from death. But Vice only repaid him by whisking himself away, the Marked Virus now spreading even further. Another timely intervention from Feld, though, and he got his head together once again. His only respite after all that was an encounter with Sami Terra, an old Marked foe that became a love interest for him. He found her odd form of innocence an attractant, even though she was both a Marked and of a much younger age.

One of the side effects of the Mars trip was the gates damaged and suppressed the Marked virus; the tissue that died required replacement, and so he was outfitted with cybernetics. However, as the Marked virus re-emerged, Vice had little choice but to continue shedding his body. He made contact with Trent Silverton, who excised much of the Marked virus and made him more machine than man... but the virus still remained, although now strongly contained.

After all this, Vice confronted another clone: Vince Vito Veran, who had paraded as Vice while he was on Mars. Although the two had similar origins, they were wholly different. Imagining a confrontation, Vice was surprised when Vince asked his brother to mentor him to fight. Although hesitant, he did, and in the process he learned much about himself and his father, as well as finally stabilizing the uncertainty of his identity. The payment? Vince rebuilt Vice's damaged suit into the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Banshee. However, a turning point in ideals caused Vince to make a movement to the Frontier Commonwealth... But that did not matter Vice, a dutiful soldier, understands the world and sees that the FC is no replacement for the Central Earth Union.

Vice's new assignment has him at the frontlines. The President's former unit, the AVPO, has now transformed into JUST-ICE: Joint Union Supervisory Taskforce - Interspace Combined Execution.

Personality: A calm and playful personality, Vince is known for hitting on anything that even looks like it breathes. He's not combat adept or savvy but knows when to get away. He's also known for being quite empathetic as a direct result of his newtype capabilities.

Biography: Vince did not life the same life as his brother. He did not escape and get a chance to pretend he was his own man. Although he was in the same project and received many of the same genetic treatments, he was handed off to some Judas Confederate officials in hope of recreating his genetic source material, Victor Vidal Veran. What came out of all that was a child who never quite learned to experience the world. Unable to fulfill what they wanted because it was not what he himself wanted, he became a test subject for various other medical experiments; he even experienced death temporarily as a result of these operations.

At one point he made his way to a colony on space, where the sensation of his brother caused him to stir and he executed an escape plan. Making his way down to Earth, he found his brother's face something he could use to his advantage. In his travels, he learned that the Union had elements that were involved in his testing, and he made it a point to screw them once he was in a position of power to do so. The ruse lasted only until his brother returned from a mission to Mars. Luckily, Vice gave up his old life as he struggled with his Marked infection.


Making his own connections and powers, Vince located Luce the final product of the Newtype PLUS project. After Vice returned from his hiatus, he asked his brother to teach him to fight; joining him in his forward cause, he supports the Union.

Personality: Due to his massive newtype presence, Xavier remained aloof for many years, taking his assigned role as the Metatron seriously. Following the damage from Sariel, however, his powers have been in a flux and he's become very sarcastic and bitter. He is a barely functioning alcoholic.

Biography: Just how long ago he was born, even he doesn't remember. It was at least two hundred years before the Light of the Angelic Chorus appeared. He served once as a common soldier before being killed, only to serve as a guinea pig in death of a new experimental nanite system, graning him near immorality (But it was a mistake - They had mis-ID'd his body and the effects it would have on his system). He existed as one of the only staples in his universe, watching as socities rose and fell. He existed as powerful figure, eventually finding his home on Jupiter, where he was able to acquire XM X-2, a Jovian custom machine. He fought along with Emperor Rezungard on the frontlines, until the Empire was absored into the Light of the Angelic Chorus, an unusually powerful group that formed in the inner belt. However, their quasi-religious bent proved untenable. Spardas was left two children to his care: One of Jovian Origin, the other of Angelic, both of whom were slated to become leaders.

In the end, however, the two children feuded, but when they came of age, their childhood rivalry became all our war. When forced to choose, he found himself back upon Jupiter. In the midst of all this, a mad Jovian scientist had created the V3 Project, something built to surpass Spardas. In the end, fueled by the mad scientist's arrogance, the V3 Project nearly took over the solar system. What happened to the V3 project is unknown, but Spardas continued to exist, serving the Rezungard family line as an Overseer. However, through time, there were instances where he suffered beyond fatal and catastrophic damage, causing him to have to rest for unusually long periods of time. In the last sequence, he was placed in cryogenic sleep on Jupiter itself. However, this was unfortunate, as the Empire went through a crisis in which it was ultimately defeated, leaving Spardas frozen in time.

When he finally did reawake, it was in the middile of a civil war between Jovian powers whom he did not recognize. The only thing he found was a figure known as Ghost, a fragment of Meridia, that tried to kill him. Realizing what the cataclysm was and beliving the Chorus had failed, Xavier struck down the opponent after months of hunting. It was only then that Sariel, the Chorus representative, intervened damaging Xavier and leaving him a cripple. The reason? The Angels were not to meddle in the affairs of the lesser races. Shunned and crippled, the Chorus has "ostracized" him so he can carry out his own will... but after facing another betrayal, the only will he had was at the bottom of a bottle, his emotions now flowing freely and dangerously unrestrained.
